Our Review : Log Horizon - its been said as many times as possible that this is NOT Sword Art Online. Yes they share a similar basic premise, are based on LNs and now get two cour animes. Still this is not ANYTHING like SAO and I for one am not just glad but overjoyed by this fact. So this part starts like SAO. No need to explain. A guy and some old online friends log in but can't log out of an MMPORG they have played for several years. So everyone has high levels, friends, parties, weapons and knowledge of the game.Log Horizon features a wide range of characters. It has everything from an elite couch potato who also happens to be an amazing tactician, to a moe assassin whose biggest wish is to server her master. Overall the anime has a good story and characters that help it move along, the music and voices are very good and makes it enjoyable to listen to and even though the art could have been better it is still pleasing to watch and there are no parts where the animation becomes choppy.
